Design Process /How I work

Every problem is different and needs a specific approach. I work with a Design
Thinking mindset to build products that respond to real user needs.

And Desing Thinking matches perfectly with an Agile workflow: defining small tasks,
validating the effort they would take and building in weekly sprints lets me iterate
quickly and redirect my efforts to design more efficiently.

Here’s how an End To End Product Design (E2EPD) process goes:

01/Discover

Desktop research (competitive analysis, maket research...) and qualitative and quantitative user research gives us essential information about the our users and their needs

02/Define

Your product is meant to solve human problems. And defining accurately that problems is key to be able to focus your resources in the correct direction.

03/Ideate

UX & UI comes to stage through Information Architecture, User Flows, Wireframing, Branding (if needed), the Design System, Interface Design and Interaction design.

04/Prototype

As simple as paper sketches or as elaborate as a high-fidelity prototypes, prototyping lets us build cheap and fast to be more flexible and adapt quickly to mistakes.

05/Test

Testing with users reduces significantly the developing costs and gives us the flexibility to learn from early mistakes and correct them.

06/Quality Assurance

To assure that the final product looks like and behabes like the designed product we have to work hand by hand with developers, understanding technological needs.

We learn about the project, the users and ourselves along every project and our comitment is to apply our new knowledge to achieve the best possible product.

Presentation

I’m Carlos Cuenca, Product Designer based in the sunny coast of Castellon, close to Valencia (Spain). I’ve been working in visual design and UX/UI since 2018. I am a user-center designer who loves to face new challenges, aware of the importance of team work to achieve the best products.

In my spare time I love cooking (and eating), doing some sports, watching series and spending time in a side project with my best friend.
